 Uniform & Safety Policy Reminder

To help keep our students safe, Crocs and backless shoes are not allowed. Students participate in daily PE and outdoor recess, so closed-toe shoes with backs or sneakers are encouraged for safety.

Additionally, all backpacks must be clear. This helps us maintain a safe and secure school environment. Below are some examples of what students should come to school with:

✅ YES Prep branded shirts
✅ YES Prep outerwear (jackets or sweaters with the YES Prep logo)
✅ Any bottoms except leggings

We will be enforcing the uniform policy daily. Please help us by ensuring your child comes to school in the proper attire so they can focus on learning and stay safe during the day.

Lost & Found Reminder — Items Will Be Donated January 30

Families, our Lost and Found is very full, and we want to make sure all missing items make their way back home! We have had these items available for families to view during Hot Chocolate with the Principal, at our STAAR Night, and they are available every day in the front office.

Please stop by as soon as possible to check for any jackets, sweaters, water bottles, or other belongings your child may be missing.

All unclaimed items will be donated on January 30.

Thank you for helping us clear our Lost and Found and ensure items return to their owners!

Classroom Birthday Celebration Guidelines

To ensure we remain in compliance with child nutrition rules and regulations, only cupcakes are allowed for classroom birthday celebrations. Please note that pizza and other food items are not permitted.

Classroom birthday celebrations take place once a week on Wednesdays at the end of the day. If you plan to send cupcakes, please drop them off at the front office by 1:45 PM on the day of the celebration so they can be delivered to the classroom in a timely manner.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your child's homeroom teacher. Thank you for helping us keep celebrations fun and safe for all students!
