As we approach our last STAAR test of the year April 30, 2025, we kindly ask for your support in ensuring our students are set up for success! Please help us by:
✅ Making sure your child gets a good night’s sleep before each testing day
✅ Dropping them off on time so they can eat breakfast and feel prepared
✅ Avoiding early pick-ups during testing days to prevent interruptions for ALL grade levels

Dismissal Late Pickup:
Over the last month, we have seen an increase in students being picked up after 3:30 PM. As a reminder, dismissal is from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, and the gate closes promptly at 3:30 PM.
Please help us finish the school year strong by respecting our dismissal procedures and the valuable time of our staff, who remain after hours to supervise late pickups. Timely pickup ensures a smooth, safe end to each day for everyone. We appreciate your partnership and commitment to supporting our school community!

Attendance Incentives:
Shout-out to Ms. Martinez for taking charge of the Attendance Incentive Cart! Let’s make sure to bring our students to school every day and on time so they can earn the chance to pick something special from the cart. Thanks, Ms. Martinez, for helping keep our students motivated!
Last Day of School
As a reminder, our last day of school is Thursday, May 29th. This day is now an early dismissal, dismissal begins promptly at 12:00 pm. Please make arrangements to ensure your child is picked up on time on the last day of school.

Volunteer Background Check Process:
- Complete Raptor Application & Read the Volunteer Policy: Guidelines - YES Prep Public Schools

- Application takes 2-10 days for processing and DCOs (Ops Team) have access to the Raptor report identifying who is approved to volunteer on campus.
- This application is done every year and volunteers are alerted of application status through email.

Coin Wars
Congratulations to 2nd Grade! Our 2nd Grade are the champions of the school wide Coin War! To celebrate their big win, they enjoyed a popcorn and movie party while rocking their pjs and bringing their favorite stuffed animal. We're so proud of their hard work and dedication. WAY TO GO 2ND GRADE!
